For those of those new to this. This pluign is an attempt to remove ur psp as a light source.
1. Use it more likely in school without getting caught.
2. Use it in church if your religious enough and have disrespect.
3. Use it in bed b4 bed so u don’t blind yourself to sleep.
4. Hey, it can even save battery!…. ha

The new StayInSchool plugin updated to v.4 offers an improved UMD feature.

This plugin:
Sets PSP Volume to 0 on startup.
Turns off LEDs
Stops UMD Drive on startup
Dims the backlight as far as it will go. [Phat and Slim differentiate]
When coming back from standby, the LEDs will remain off.
Hot key Left Trigger and Note will enable the leds and put the brightness to normal visa versa.
Hot key Left Trigger and Volume Down will disable the UMD drive while in any mode (XMB, Game, Pops)
Hot key Left Trigger and Volume Up will re-enable the UMD driver, allowing the use of your UMD games/videos.
If launched game from UMD; Plugin will not disable the umd drive thus not crashing.

I have finally completed the next stable release for public use. It shouldn’t cause any problems. This is Build 10 of Netstat3 so, yes, it is still in beta. What’s new? Check out the change log! Well, it also works a bit as an instruction guide.

Main

-> What’s My IP? – It does just that. It will allow you to quicky find your IP address and copy it. Useful if you need to find your IP address often for certain programs such as VNC or PSP Wificontroller.

-> Ping – Currently, it is a simple pinger tool that also allows you to find and copy the IP address of the host as well as reverse IP address.

-> IP Scanner – Powered by AngryIP, you will have a very powerful tool on hand to find any IP address you want.

-> Site Speeder – An experimental feature. What it does is that it reduces one step the browsers take by adding the site to a directory, therefore reducing load times.

-> Block Address – See an address you don’t ever want to see? Simply paste the host link and kiss it goodbye! 

-> Unblock Address -> Decided to give it a second chance? Perhaps you made a mistake and added the wrong site? Bring it back from the grave just as easily as you blocked it!

 

Extras

-> IRC Client – You can now chat with your members quickly and with no hasssle. Just launch and you’re there. 

-> Foobar Custom Media Player – This is more of a bonus than a feature. This is the fastest and simplest music player. It does everything you need without load times, constant crashes, etc. 

Settings

-> Reset Network – Sometimes the network is just causing problems. A simple reset will solve most of your problems. It will also assign you a new IP address if you’re on a DHCP setup.

-> Refresh DNS Cache – Equivalent of flusing your DNS cache, it will easily reset your DNS cache if you have any problems connecting to websites

-> Update Blacklist – You can grab a copy of a blacklist file that blocks several ads as well as harmful sites that download trojans.

-> Delete Blacklist – If you are having issues or simply want to start over you can delete the blacklist file.

-> Aero Glass CMD – Give it a try! It is just for fun but it sure does make it look pretty. To see what it does, enable it and then run command prompt. You may have to click on the window bar (at the top) to see the results.  This only works on Vista and higher.

-> Run on startup – You can allow it to run automatically for you upon startup.

-> Enable/Disable Blocker – There are times when you want the blocker to let you through.

Give it a try and see how it fares for you. You can also request features that you want to see in future releases. Keep in mind that this release is currently only tested on 32-bit machines running Windows 7. It should work on a 32-bit Vista as well as XP, but if you have a 64-bit machine then use at your own risk. I suggest you do not try it on a 64-bit machine. Let me know if you have a 64-bit machine though.

What is it?

It’s a small app that allows you to control your media player without the need to keep switching to it. This means you could be playing your games or keeping up with the latest development projects while easily and quickly controlling your music player. What’s so different about this compared to the other ones out there, you say? Everything! It’s not a remote. It’s controlled by hotkeys meaning you can control your music entirely from your keyboard. It’s easily customizable so that you can pretty much set any key and/or combination on the fly. Download QuickMute and give it a try! No setup or any other file is required. It’s a simple download and run type of program. This is the final release of QuickMute unless someone requests a feature. Enjoy!

I know. I’m increadibly late to report this news but better now than never, right? Besides, I’ve noticed that there are several members out there who end up downloading the outdated version. Anyway, on to the latest release!

 -New setting added, Enable AP detection beep for (NO SECURITY/WEP/WPA-PSK(TKIP)/WPA-PSK(AES)/ALL/NONE)
 -Added power switch blocking, so you dont crash your psp when putting it in suspend mode during a scan.

It’s been a while since the last news update. I apologize for that. I promise you that during the summer, there will be a burst of new articles just like last year. Anyway, on to what Netstat3 is!

Gaby_64 is back with a new update! Unfortunately, this still doesn’t capture yet as it’s still experimental (so it’s not released yet). However,  he released a newer version with an improved GUI and new features. This is, according to Gaby, the only wifi sniffer that works on the slim without the use of Time Machine or any other form. Well, on to the changelog!

Remember Matan Gillon? No, you say? Shame on you! Well, I’ll help you remember. If you do remember, then great job! You would probably be excited. He released his source code for BOCHS for psp. This way, you can improve on the X86 emulator and push the performance of Windows on the psp. Here’s a quote.

I just wanted to say that I released the source code for Bochs PSP. Apologies for the huge delay.

Bochs PSP was originally developed using a very old version of the PSP SDK so the sources probably need to be modified in order to compile them with the current version. Also, at the time I developed this, SDL didn’t have any rescaling capabilities so I had to modify it. If SDL for PSP currently has rescaling capabilities (I really have no idea) then you probably don’t need to use the modifications.

The dream of some has finally come true! PA developer, Gaby_64,  released a beta version of a WEP cracker for the psp. Currently, it only cracks a .cap file but it doesn’t create the .cap file directly on the psp. It’s a huge step forward at least! So far the program can do the following:

-checks cap file
-decrypts cap file
-gives you the key

It’s a great start considering it’s only a beta. He has a new update planned. Read on to see the future plans and the download link.

Developer CyberDemon5150 released a massive update to his amazing port of Team Fortress PSP. He was working on it ever since the first release. The changelog and info is too big to fit here so read more for the entire list and download in the forum. Don’t be fooled by such a minor number change!

The project that z2442/joey is working on is called Hack OS. It will eventually replace your XMB that every psp uses. Currently, it is a beta and he is working on the menu and the features. He released the fourth beta for you to try out. It is far from complete but he is constantly working on it.  Read more to watch the video and download the beta.

Hello, CyberDemon5150 here, my login isn’t working correctly at the moment so I’m just posting as a guest.

Anyway, I have finished with the controls. Now every important impulse is useable. You basically just shift between .cfgs with the left and right arrow buttons, but there are a lot of controls, so to see what is what, just open up the cfgs entitled: config.cfg, weaponcontrol.cfg, bot.cfg, numberkeys.cfg, and misccommands.cfg to see the bindings or change them around if you want to. Also, in-game, just pull down the console in the options menu and type “map 4f4″ or “map C” without the quotes. Those are the best maps to use, even though there are a lot more included (also, there are some that just don’t work because they can’t find certain textures, but if you can find them, they are certain to be awesome)

Well, three months ago I tried this crazy idea, after reading someone’s post about wishful thinking of Team Fortress 2 on PSP. I knew that Quake worked on PSP, and that the original Team Fortress was a Quake mod, so I figured, why not? Well, it did not have a Capture the Flag functionality, so it was pretty much limited to class-based Deathmatch. I came across a Threewave CTF PAK file that just adds the CTF mode to CTF maps, and combined with ctfbots designed for Team Fortress, there you have it! Also, thanks go to Dark Chazz for helping with some obstacles I had to face while getting this to work. Now all we need is for one of you developers to code some more intelligent bots!

I found out that there was a flaw on my website. It wasn’t my fault, but rather Microsoft. Now, I don’t blame them since they are probably too busy to update Windows XP’s fonts via Windows Updates. In order to view this site properly, you had to have a Vista machine. I know that not everyone has Vista right now so this would be a problem with XP users and older. Luckily, there is a solution to that problem. Thanks to Danny for his cooperation, you can now view this site properly on your Windows XP machine simply by downloading the font and installing it. Theoretically, you can also use this font on older machines too.

The font is tested and confirmed working according to Danny. I appreciate your effort! :) Read more for the short tutorial created by Danny himself.

Now is the time to finally experience a newer version of Mac on your psp. There is a tutorial and a ready-made download included in the link below thanks to Dennis96411. In order to get a Mac OS 8 working on the psp, all you need to do is download and run it on a custom firmware. Simple right? What are you waiting for? Go for it!
